In the face of rapid and profound transformations in the world of work, innovation in human resources has become crucial for organizations. To raise awareness among industry professionals about the challenges and opportunities related to this evolution, the founders of Lab RH and Tomorrow Theory have produced a science fiction short film entitled “Explorer”.

Drawing inspiration from the Star Trek universe, this 4-minute film transposes the codes of science fiction into the context of human resources. It thus invites viewers to adopt a new perspective, to take risks and to explore innovative approaches to solving HR problems. The short film follows the crew of the USS Tomorrow, a spaceship from the HR Fleet galactic network, in search of disruptive and responsible methods to address the HR challenges of organizations.

“Explorer” offers an original, playful and engaging vision of HR innovation, making cinema an unexpected and entertaining platform to rethink the possibilities offered by this field. By using an innovative format to raise awareness about these issues, Tomorrow Theory aims to encourage industry professionals to view their profession differently and to dare to break new ground.

This unique project is also a call to the HR community to collaborate and collectively reflect on solutions to build a more equitable, fairer and more sustainable future for all. The co-founders of Tomorrow Theory are also planning a new cinematic experience for the end of 2023: the ECHO Project. It will be an even more ambitious ‘HR science fiction’ film, involving more actors from the field.
